
Sweet Potato Casserole
Ingredients
3 cups sweet potatoes (Again, I'm a bad Southerner and used canned)
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs, beaten
1/3 cup milk
1 t. vanilla
Combine and mix well. Pour into a buttered baking dish and top with the following:
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup chopped pecans
Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes. When you've got about 5 or 10 minutes left, top with marshmallows and continue baking.
Husband loves this recipe, but all this sweet potato talk is making me feel a little queasy. If you'll excuse me...

I know what you mean when it comes to sweet potatoes! I dont know if its the color, the smell, the texture, or just well the whole sweet potatoe! LOL!! I just DO NOT LIKE THEM! I'll join in on the protest. We do not serve them on any occasion! Have a blessed Thanksgiving holiday!!
ReplyDeleteLOL! You poor thing. I hate cooking things I can't stand, the smell alone is gag-inducing! I don't love sweet potatoes but I don't hate them. They're just okay to me.
