Contest idea

I have a few ARCS and duplicate copies of books I've been meaning to give away or do something with, I just haven't taken the time to do it yet. I can't decide how I want to give them away, though. Since my blog is currently named "Stephanie's Blog" (how uncreative am I?) I thought about having YOU come up with a name for my blog. (And maybe create me a banner? Not sure...) If I like your suggestion the best... BAM! You win a book? Thoughts? Do enough people even read my blog to have entries? Ha! Leave me comments or reply to me on Twitter (I'm @StephPellegrin, I need to get a Twitter widget) and let me know. :) Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!

  2. Thanks, Amelia! I'm so uncreative and need help! Maybe I'll hold two contests: one to name my blog and the other to make a banner with said name?

  3. Awesome idea! How about Fiction Addiction?
    Or... A Blog About Books?
I'm bad at naming blogs too...

  4. Why not "Stephanie reads"? It's simple; simple's good.

If you decide to go with this, drop us a line at my Win a Book promo blog. (Winabook at WestofMars dot com) We post about the books bloggers are giving away, as well as any interviews or guest posts you may do with authors. It's about connecting readers with books ... and a lot of times, your blogs pick up new fans at the same time.

Good luck naming your blog. I've got one named Win a Book. I'm not much better at naming blogs (although the other two are slightly better -- The Meet and Greet and Rocks 'n Reads)

  5. How about something like "For the love of books" if I think of a better one later I'll re-visit, but I am digging this one, lol.

  6. I like the "Stephanie Reads" idea. What about "The Bookmark"? Good luck! I just started following you over on goodreads (love that place). I thought I'd post here because I noticed you'd read an ARC of Perchance to Dream & I'd LOVE to get my hands on that - especially since you said it's better than the first! :) How do usually you get your ARCs?

  7. Thanks, everyone! I'll have something together shortly-ish. :)

Em- I usually get my ARCS from the publisher or sometimes directly from the author. :)
